The Carbon County Animal Shelter and Carbon County Animal Rescue Rehabilitation and Surgical Center have teamed up with Penn’s Peak and Renaissance rock group Blackmore’s Night to help in the care of the Shelter’s four legged residents. Both are no kill shelters, which annually care for and try to find homes for hundreds of dogs and cats.
Volunteers from the Carbon County Animal Shelter and the Carbon County Animal Rescue Rehabilitation Surgical Center will be on site at Penn’s Peak accepting donations of dog, puppy, cat and kitten food, toys, leashes, treats, trash bags and laundry detergent from concert goers. Donations of cash and checks are welcomed as well.
Appearing at Penn’s Peak on July 26th will be Blackmore’s Night, featuring Rock and Roll Hall of Fame guitarist Ritchie Blackmore and award winning vocalist Candice Night and their talented band of minstrels. Supported by the musical group…Wizards Consort.
Both performers are strong supporters of no kill shelters and the World Wildlife Fund in Europe for over 20 years and welcome this opportunity to lend their support towards this effort.
Live music fans are encouraged to buy a ticket for a great show that appeals to all ages and bring along a contribution in some form to support the Carbon County Animal Shelter and Carbon County Animal Rescue Center.

Blackmore’s Night appears at Penn’s Peak on Thursday July 26, show time 7 PM. Donations will be accepted at the main entrance.
