This week’s Awesome Athlete presented by Service Electric is senior pitcher Karlye Teman of the Palisades softball team. Karlye struck out 15 batters to lead the Pirates to a 5-3 win over Southern Lehigh. She is just the fifth pitcher in the history of PIAA softball to reach 1,000 career strikeouts.
